45-degree pitch

45-degree pitch impellers are used for both turbulent and laminar flow applications. They perform particularly well in applications where the viscosity changes significantly. The 45-degree pitch impeller can be used when solids are regularly being added to the tank.

Hydrofoil

Hydrofoil impellers provide the lowest shear of any impeller. UET Mixers hydrofoil impeller design provides approximately 200% more pumping capacity than a conventional 45 degree pitch impeller. This added mixing capacity is achieved without additional horsepower or the cost of additional mechanical equipment. They are well suited for a wide range of applications.

Propeller

Propeller or “boat-style” impellers are typically use on portable mixer in small batch applications. They are well suited for highly turbulent applications.

Intermig

Specialty style axial flow impeller that provides a counter flow pattern in highly viscous fluids.

90-degree

Best used for laminar flow applications, often in dispersions. 90o impellers can be a good solution near the bottom of a tank.

Rushton

The right solution for adding low concentrations of immiscible liquids or gases.

Disperser

As the name implies, this impeller is best suited for dispersions. This impeller is significantly more efficient for gas dispersion applications than the Rushton impeller. The disperser impeller style is also well suitable for liquid-liquid dispersions.

Gas Dispersion

For gas dispersion applications, the gas dispersion impeller is an upgrade over the traditional Rushton impeller. Compared to the Rushton’s flat blade design, the curved blades of the gas dispersion impeller allow for up to five times as much gas flow.

Shear

Good solution for applications that require high shear. Shear impellers are often used in conjunction with a secondary “pumping” impeller to aid in tank turnover.
